Sunday 12 May 2019. A number of years ago the Handels attended the well-known book fair in the attractive town of Clunes, located in Victoria’s Goldfields region. We thought we might like to return one day and finally in 2019 we did, with a view to undertaking a walk. From Ligar St Reserve we followed a walking trail a short way along Creswick Creek, then turned up Station Flat Rd and proceeded to circumambulate Esmond Park, arriving back in town via Angus St (I think). We then admired the town centre in all its faded glory.
