Monday 10 June 2019. On a sunny Queen’s Birthday holiday Monday the Handels decided to take a short walk around the attractive Macedon Ranges town of Woodend. After parking, we walked west along Forest St and entered the old racecourse, which now accommodates a number of sporting facilities and whose former track is now a very attractive, tree-lined walking trail. The trail continues along Five Mile Creek and heads back into town. We finished at the children’s playground.
