Grahams Creek Picnic Area, Brisbane Ranges National Park

Sunday 7 June 2020. We love to visit this quiet spot near Steiglitz in the Brisbane Ranges. Invariably we find no other visitors. However, driving through Steiglitz today en route to Grahams Creek we noted how busy that semi–ghost town was. We attributed this of course to the easing of coronavirus restrictions. We wondered whether Grahams Creek might be busy too, but in the event only one other party was present. We enjoyed our usual picnic lunch and set out for the Crossing picnic area, two kilometres south of Grahams Creek along the Burchell Trail, a pleasant stroll through the kind of scrubby bush that characterises the Brisbane Ranges.
