Thursday 9 July 2020. We thoroughly enjoy Coogoorah Park each time we visit. The park in Anglesea incorporates 17 hectares of estuarine and woodland habitat along the lower reaches of the Anglesea River, just before it empties into Bass Strait. Trails for walking and cycling weave among reeds and through bushland. As many as 156 species of birds are found here. We spotted a small number – a Great Cormorant, Chestnut Teals and my favourite, the common but lovely Superb Fairy Wren.
