Sunday 5 July 2020. Breamlea is a lovely, hidden beach located behind a (very) small township of the same name, just east of Torquay. In the past it has often been quite windy here, but today was still. As in Torquay the day before, the sun pierced rain clouds and produced a beautiful, full rainbow. From the car park at the end of the town (just houses really; there is a single shop), we walked as far as Thompson Creek; we weren’t all willing to take our shoes off to cross, so we couldn’t inspect the concrete bunker on the far side. What could it be? We played Frisbee and walked back, and galahs met us at the car park.
